Installation
Installation is a straightforward DIY procedure requiring no special tools. Remove your existing grips by cutting or sliding them off the bars. Clean bar ends thoroughly of old adhesive residue. Apply ProTaper Grip Glue (sold separately) carefully to the inside of each grip — avoid excess glue on the throttle side to prevent the throttle tube from sticking. Slide grips onto the bars promptly and allow adhesive to cure fully before riding. Safety wire can also be used for additional security on the clutch side. No professional installation required.
